"Sitting on the dock of the bay . . . "
With Tim Baskerville and Guest Lecturers - May 8, 9, 10, and 16, 2009

Alum Michael Quinn ©2004-09

General Information
This comprehensive workshop will be held over four nights: Friday, May 8; Saturday, May 9; and Sunday, May 10. In addition there will be a follow-up evening on the following Saturday, May 16, to view prints, JPGs, and transparencies, critique work, problem-solve, etc. A visit from a special guest lecturer is planned for this night. The follow up can be arranged for a different time, as we know some participants might be coming in from outside the Bay Area.

The workshop group will meet most nights for lectures at Fort Mason Center, starting at 7pm. After the lectures, on the first night, we will concentrate on photographing the architectural features, historic piers, and the rolling hills above the retired military post, while the second night we'll photograph in the historic Presidio of San Francisco. The third night will be spent photographing on location in a more "natural" landscape, with the aid of May's Full "Flower" Moon, across the Golden Gate Bridge, in the Marin Headlands.
