Tom Paiva is a professional, freelance photographer based in California. In business for over 12 years, his specialties include industrial, architectural, as well as a specialty niche in the maritime industry. Night photography has been a long-term passion and is an avenue for his personal work. He has co-lead photo workshops on night photography and large format camera use over the past 5 years and has had several articles on these subjects in photographic magazines. He was educated at the San Francisco Academy of Art, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
