When will this madness end?
: One year ago a friend showed me his 1-million candle power flashlight that he paid "less than $50" for a few months earlier. Great for lighting up things for night photography. A month later I one-upped him. For $20 I bought a 1-1/4 million candle power flashlight.
: Yes, my flashlight was 25% bigger than his one. I was feeling pretty good about myself.

: You can now buy a TWO-MILLION candle power flashlight for $20 at Orchard Supply (and probably Home Depot, too)!!! This "Flashligh Race" is getting out of control. If you've been thinking about buying one, now may be the time to jump in. But if you see me one night with my paltry 1.25 MCP flashlight, please try not to rub it in. I've become very sensitive about this issue.
