So, last Friday night I take my class from UC Berkeley Extension out to Sutro Baths ruins (below the Cliff House) in San Francisco for a nice peaceful night of photography (it was an unusually warm, clear night at the coast). On our way down to the shore, we kept seeing people with camera gear (and tripods in tow, not tourists!) hiking back out, and thought that curious. When we arrived down by the pools and the tunnel of Sutro ruins, we saw gathered there about 30-50 tripods (with cameras and photographers attached!) what could be going on here?
Turns out it was a rather large group from City College of San Francisco, representing members of a few different courses there, along with some 'hangers-on' (whom I talked to) out for a great night of nocturnal photography!
Now, the question is - can anyone out there put us in touch with the Instructors responsible for this nocturnal, coastal affair? The Nocturnes would like to coordinate some kind of future event with them . . .
