Check out the Datebook section of today's (Sunday, Sept. 28) San Francisco Chonicle for Jesse Hamlin's piece on Open Studios, including comments by The Nocturnes' own Tim Baskerville. We think the article 'sheds some light' on The Nocturnes and the true spirit of Open Studios. Favorite quote by Tim from the piece: "Night photography is a very isolated, quirky, oddball thing to do," Baskerville says. "This exposes people to what we're doing. People tend to think of night photography in terms of Christmas lights and fireworks. We aim to elevate that and show the mystery of night photography."
