When I read the Yahoo! News link to this article ("Norway taps moon-power for electricity") I thought, "Wow...electricity from lunar panels! Wicked cool!" Alas, it was not so, but it is an interesting article. This is the first time someone is using a tidal hydroelectric power plant to supplant the local grid (and since the tides come from the moon...OK, it was a stretch).

What is especially interesting in this article, however, are the advantages of tidal hydroelectric generators over wind turbines. The obvious disadvantage is that they're terribly difficult for even seasoned Nocturnes to photograph.
